Our next AGT will be held on Sunday, 10th September at Longmeads House, 12-14 Redwood Drive, Writtle, Chelmsford, CM1 3LY

This is also the date of Mick & Alan's relaxed Associate/Full Member social ride and the Essex Air Ambulance Run.

Therefore, on an experimental basis, we are planning to combine the AGT and Mick & Alan's Social Ride - which will be heading to the Air Ambulance Show at Harwich.

Members wishing to participate in an Observed ride should ensure that you arrive by 09:15 at the latest, to get signed in before the Roadcraft talk commences at 09:30.

At 09:30 there will be a Roadcraft talk for approximately 20 minutes (this month Mick Hewitt will be covering the subject of 'Vision - what you can see').

Following the talk there will be the choices of:

1. Joining the 'relaxed' social ride to Harwich for Associates and Full members;

2. Participating in an Observed ride if you are either an Associate or a Full Member signed up for FTFM;

3. There may be a 'standard' Full member social ride (if enough full members are interested in arranging an alternative to option 1).

Please will all riders wishing to participate in an observed ride remember to bring along your valid and current driving license; certificate of insurance; and MOT (if your bike needs one)!

Will all riders please ensure your bike has a full tank of fuel.

Riders who are considering joining EAMG to take some additional training are welcome to attend this event as Guests at no charge to check us out.

You will be able to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee at Longmeads House if you wish, for a modest fee of £1.

Regards,

John

The social ride will be to Abberton Reservoir (CO2 0EU) near Colchester.
There's a nice little cafe and visitor center, plus plenty of wild life to see.

Distance is about 75 mile total. Shorter route due to new format for this months AGT.
Regards
Mick
