December's Group Night meeting will feature the ever popular Quiz Evening presented by Chris Johnson & family, an eclectic selection of questions is guaranteed. The Quiz presents a great opportunity to invite partners & friends, etc., and we hope as many members as possible are able to attend! :D

We will be in our usual venue - the Essex Barn @ Channels Golf Club, Pratts Farm Lane East, Little Waltham, Chelmsford, Essex, CM3 3PT.

Potential new members are very welcome to attend as guests, so if you are considering taking some post-test training or have already passed an advanced test and would like to find out more about EAMG and our extensive range of training options & social activities then why not come along to check us out?

At the moment there is not a waiting list for new members to be allocated for training and we are able to offer both 1-to-1 and group training options for Associate and Full members.

John Tipper will be covering the New Members table this month and there will be the usual excellent selection of food and drinks available.

A supply of membership forms for 2018 renewals should be available - along with the December issue of TUG.

A very enjoyable evening. Many thanks to Chris and family for the quiz, as entertaining as ever.

A very happy Christmas to all.

Many thanks to all who turned up for the Xmas Quiz, and entered into the spirit of it. It seems to have been a little harder than last year. Food & Drink was tougher than it should have been, and History was a disaster for most (although I didn't think the questions were that hard. The Science jeopardy round got a better average than I would have expected.

The round which was far too easy was the Sounds round. Virtually everybody got 9 or 10. Choosing tracks from the Rolling Stone Essential 500 list may have been too populist. I shall throw in a couple of obscure Baroque composers next year!

Congratulations to Table 8 on their victory, and to Table 6 for winning the coveted wooden spoon. The rankings were:

Table Score
8 71
7 69
4 66
10 66
1 65
3 64
5 62
9 53
6 39

Pictures have been posted.
