The run went off very well because of stunning weather. 21 bikes travelled the 75 miles out to Needham Lake, and then half of them went the 35 miles back to Braintree so that anyone who wanted could visit the Hein Gerick open day. Many thanks to Stephen for acting as back marker. Photos from the run and AGT have been posted (bit of a delay; SE London had no electricity because of a power station fire).

Regards
Chris J.

Thanks for leading the ride out Chris, we carried on to Norfolk as planned. Got home at 7pm to find our road closed because of a bike accident. KTM stuffed into the front of a bus (30mph limit  ).

Coincidence or what - while at Needham services (or where ever it was) the rouge nail in my rear tyre was pointed out   , stayed up and got me home 8) , but removal of nail has meant the tyre is now in hospital having a plaster fitted. but should be healed by tonight though

Yep, thanks to my affiliation agreements with bike shops around Essex that nail dispenser on the back of the bike is proving to be a real little earner!

:-)
