Richard,

I had a very good time. Thank you. Great roads, good hotel, good weather! and fine company. I was particularly surprised to see the huge areas of flooding alongside the M25 as I drove home. Must have been chaos here while we were away enjoying ourselves.

I really enjoyed the two days away and the company of all those that came along. But the biggest hats off must go to Paula H ('Pooh') on her first venture abroad on a motorcycle.... Well done
Well done indeed, Paula, you were the perfect riding companion, you are without doubt a very competent rider and should be very proud of your ability (another Gold Star for you :D )
Time to book the next trip

Phil

A few stats from the Beginners Jaunt, taken from my Tigers digital dash... (sad I know)

Total miles 668 (door to door)
14 hours 34 mins riding time
45.8 MPH average
45.2 MPG average

MPG was better than I thought it might be :D and the MPH was higher than I thought it might be (probably because I was trying to keep up with Paula  )..
