Yep, it's getting close to that time again for the Jaunt around the Pas De Calais.

This is a regular ride open to fully paid up Associate and Full members which involves a ride of 140 miles in Northern France.

The details are as follows:

Travelling on Eurotunnel. Depart Folkestone April 22nd 08.20 train.

Depart Calais (Local time) April 22nd 18.50 train.

If you are thinking of joining this ride I suggest you consider booking now, already slots are limited on the train.

The ride leaves Calais and heads East South East to the picturesque town of Cassell where we stop for elevenses, croissant and coffee, mmm. We then turn West South West and head for Le Touquet a seaside resort town on the Atlantic coast, here we take lunch before heading North back to Calais. Any questions? Feel free to ask. :D

Spider, this appeared to be a perfectly acceptable request although you know that I don't mix drinking and riding, even when it's free booze and you know that my machine is always, well nearly always, clean. I then realised it was a hoax when I got to the bit about you not speaking, gimme a break. there's more chance of an F16 landing in my backyard.

Can't change it now pal, times are set and people may have booked already! :?

Help others, if you can't help them, at least don't harm them.

Great stuff Ian,

The usual arrangement, meet you at the terminal for departure for La Belle Francaise and Coffee in Cassell and Moules Mariniere in Le Touquet.

Vive le France. :D

Geoff, I will be able to make the jaunt this year.

If you have a cast of hundreds and want to split the group up, I don't mind helping you out.

Richard

Has anyone got a Garmin route for this?

If so can you send me it. My first trip abroad on the bike and I like the comfort of knowing where I'm going.

Cheers.
