Whoops! I've been telling people it starts from A414/M11 junction just after North Weald. Please take notice of the above post, it starts at CHELMSFORD.

Great decision to start from Chelmsford - opens various options to get to the A507. I'm still happy to lead a group if required and will then probably do the Silverstone loop and extend it out towards Chipping Norton .................................Richard P.

Good job Audrey noticed the change of meeting point, we'd have been waiting at Harlow wondering where everybody was!

Would you still like me to lead a group?

Looks likes we have three group leaders, all we need now is three groups. If last year is anything to go by we should be swamped with eager groupee's (not that kind of groupee Simon)

Hi all I have offered Nigel to lead a group if the numbers grow.

Am looking forward to it.

If I'm needed to lead a ride, I'll be taking the A1060 / B184 to Dunmow. B184 to Thaxted, Left to Debden / Newport. Right then immediate Left B1038 to Clavering and Buntingford. A507 to Baldock and Woburn. A5130 Woburn Sands and Milton Keynes. Some roundabout practice through Milton Keynes to the A5. North up the A5 to Pottespury. About 90 miles.

Look forward to seeing everybody tomorrow.

Really enjoyed that. thanks to my group and well done with the marker system - we lost no one.
Congratulations to Mark who undertook his longest motorcycle trip since passing his test last year and to Shelley another new face and to Jan who hadn't been on a group ride before. hope you ball enjoyed the route. Not forgetting the back markers GSXR Clive and SV Suzy. Hey! and we missed the rain.

Me too.

Thanks all for an enjoyable jaunt in the countryside. Good to meet new two wheeled enthusiasts and look forward to riding with you all again sometime.

Just arrived home, 7:00pm, after a great day's ride. 320 miles I recon most on great roads. Didn't miss the rain in the Cotswolds but all adds to the fun; only problem is the bikes are dirty and there's a hose pipe ban!

Thanks to everyone who joined my group, it was great riding with so many old friends but good to see so many new ones.

John and Audrey
