Ride to the Shuttleworth Collection at Old Walden near Biggleswade in time for 11's or probably 12's.

Nice restaurant and tea room. Meet at Miami Tesco Chelmsford at 9am for 9.30 kick off. Finish some where near Ware early afternoon. Back in time to cut the grass.

Please indicate if you think your coming as I'll let Shuttleworth know how many.

There is no entry fee to use the shop and restaurant, but if you want to look at the old planes, details are on their website.

Stuart

Thanks Peter, but we're not going anywhere Duxford. It's the classic plane collection at The Shuttleworth Collection, West of the A1 near Biggleswade.

You've got a new map then?

Have fun. Somewhere in one of the Shuttleworth hangers there is an old aero engine of some sort that was salvaged by my father and some mates from a scrap yard in the late 40's, when they were working at de Haviland or Vickers.

There used to be a large Edwardian fire engine, too. That was owned by a friend of my father's as a young man in the late 40's or early 50's .... and driven (as his everyday form of transport) for a while. Happy days. If it's still there, give it a pat for me.
