The Full Member Social Ride this month will be to Rushden N'hants a return distance of about 180 miles. There will be a coffee stop on the outward leg and fuel on the return at around 130 miles.

Please meet to leave Sainsburys Springfield Chelmsford at 9.30am. Ride to finish at Mc Donalds Boreham Services.

With the short days stops will have to be sharp...............................Richard P.

Don't get too excited about this ride - if the weather is as bad as this morning we will have to rethink.
Round here there were still frozen puddles at mid-day. I'll watch the local weather early tomorrow evening and make a decision..................................Richard P.

RIDE CANCELLED

Sorry Guys but I have decided to cancel this ride due to the likelihood of ice :( .

The forecast has been very accurate of late. This morning at 9am it was -3 and any puddles on the road were frozen. The forecast for Sunday is similar -3 with a heavy frost. With much dampness around this is going to be ice especially in shaded areas and although later in the day looks sunny I can't wait to see before making the decision. Sorry................................Richard P.

shame was planning on joining you and even washed the bike today in preparation, however a wise choice indeed- no point in risking things. Dont forget the quiz night guys!

Glad the message from the AGT got through - a proper "advanced" decision :)

Cheers

Even put a new tyre on the bike as well. Never mind good call Richard,

Now for a beer and curry.
