The annual Super Sausage Run will be on Easter Saturday 30th March....
Meet McDonalds M11 Hastingwood interchange 08:45 for a prompt 09:15 departure.

I have managed to get Chris Reed to lead a group so the route will no doubt take in Woburn Deer park and if time is on our side there may even be a group going through the Cotswolds on the way back.

If there are sufficient numbers we will run two or maybe even three groups

The Sun is booked so make it a date in your diary.. :D :D :D

Sorry guys I would have loved to have joined you on this but it clashes with the charity memorial ride for Bman (Thurrock services to Southend).
I did get to the Super Sausage at some stage last year and can highly recommend it :)

Start delayed to 09:15 for 09:30 departure to give the temperature a chance to rise a bit.....
See you there. :D :D

You managed to disable the spelling checker. That takes skill. Congratulations :-)

Unless it snows overnight I am intending to be there. If Chris is going at his usual gentle pace with the less experienced riders I am happy to tail for him again.

Chris

One other thought. Do we know what time the Super Sausage closes? I know from previous years that an 0930 start (which means the fourth group will not leave until approaching 1000) can make things a bit tight on time at the Super Sausage.

I'm not suggesting we leave earlier, safety is more important than food.

A big thank you to all the hardy souls that attended today!

I hope that you all got home safely despite the snow! I got in about 1 minute before a heavy snow shower ! Bike wiped down and away after an enjoyable if somewhat shortened ride.

Chris

Thank you Chris and John for leading a group and Chris Gardiner for tail ending...
I hope everyone enjoyed themselves.
The 130 between A12 and A127 was interesting temperature went from 2 to -2 to 2 snow almost 2" thick on screen
Thanks to Corner Shy for the fun on the Baldock to Buntingford stretch :D :D
A gentle reminder to those that have not rejoined the group yet see what fun your missing...

Unfortunately I couldn't attend the run myself but if anyone has photos from the run I'd be very pleased if you could send them to me. The EAMG website will be getting a facelift in the next few days so I would love some group ride photo to put on the new photo gallery.
Full size photos are not necessary as they have far more pixels than a computer screen can resolve so you can re-size to "large document size" so ease of sending.
Please send photos to me at webmaster@eamg.org.uk
Thanks, Graham

The ideal size is about 1.3 megapixels. Most cameras refuse to take anything so primitively small nowadays but if you can use 3mp or less you might save yourself, or the viewers' browsers, from doing a bunch of rendering down.

Chris J.
