Anyone is welcome I'm doing a ride to the Ambiance cafe in St Neots. Great Cafe by the river. Anyone's welcome just thought I'd post it up in case anyones at a loss for Sunday, used to do lots of rides with my old group. Weather looks great for Sunday. Leaving from Tesco's Carpark at Miami Roundabout in Chelmsford 9.15am.

Route will take us through The Rodings, Along the A507, Skirting Beford to St Neots for Brunch. After this a ride past Gratham Waters right around Huntingdon, across to Mildenhall and down through Bury with a final stop for tea at Finchingfield.

Please note this is a full days ride!

If the group isn't small will need a tailender...

Worked out really well great roads, good location to aim for and great company too! Think others would have really enjoyed, 200 miles covered with many roads completely empty!

Thanks for the icecream Ron was much needed by the end of the day!

Until next time...

A really enjoyable ride - different empty roads & a new place to eat but strange that on beautiful sunny day there were only 5 of us. It's also good to see a new face prepared to organise a ride so thanks for that & keep it up.

Kind regards

Snowy (otherwise it's going to get confusing -  )

You mean me????

C'mon Phil you know I'm not into all this sat nav shit. I'm well aware folk have this kit that records where they've been & woringly what speed they were doing which is real handy for the old bill should you get a "tug". No, but I did stick a road atlas in my rucksack but thankfully it wasn't needed because thanks to Ron who marked the junctions just for me   But sorry Phil I didn't have time to take notes :D :D. but take it from me it was good. Actually I'm getting a bit past it but who cares - not me.

Kind regards

Me

You're so far from past it Snowy.

Your extended foot pegs slow things down a tad in corners.

I can't help myself but suggest you try one of the new big trailies. Shockingly expensive they are, but the new KTM 1190 Adventure and the new GS are outstanding machines that might be big enough to be comfortable exactly as they are & they're proper quick too (see for yourself). If not, then perhaps the even bigger round the world versions of these, the Adventure R and GS Adventure, respectively?

No idea about the other big trailies, but they certainly have their fans.

I know you like your ZZR, it's just a thought.
