Congratulations, Geoff. The new route down to Rye was a vast improvement on the one I remember from the not-so-good old days. It was a real pleasure to be out on my first Group Run for over two years. Never mind the rusty riding; I forgot to bring my camera (Shock! Horror! Impossible!) so all I got were half a dozen snaps on my phone, only four of which consented to be emailed to my computer. The EAMG photo site has thus technically come back to life, but only just. Many thanks to Pete for tail-ending, and having a distinctive enough fairing to let us recognise when he was approaching. Arrived back rather late at my sister's party, when all there was left to eat were two sausages and a small lump of fiery Mexican cheese. However, I do not regret staying with the run.

Regards
Chris J.

Hi Ibrahim,

The car park is at Thurrock Services at the junction of M25 and A13.

Today I have checked and ta this junction there is only truck parking just across to the hotel....
I could not see car park.....

Hope This Helps

I'm sorry.

Future reference:
1. Click the link
This allows you to view the area that we met in, from the entrance.

2. Click the minus button towards top left to the degree that you require.
This allows you to zoom out of the picture and then map until you are able to determine the exact location, compared to all other significant landmarks.

Excellent seeing CJ out and about. :D

What CJ said about Goeff's avoiding Motorways At All Costs modification just after the bridge- really liked that change. 8)

Cheers for Pete sweeping.

My thanks to everyone for sharing a most enjoyable day and particularly to Peter Richbell for sweeping all day, thanks mate.

Enjoyable though the day was it was as nothing compared to the pleasure and delight at seeing the illustrious Mr CJ, in all his glory at the rendevous point, it was wonderful being able to ride in your company once again Chris and I'm sure you realise that I threw in that Uee just for you. The lack of food! look at it this way Chris, it was a counter balance to what you had for lunch. Welcome back mate. :D
