The Full Member Social Ride this month will be to Potterspury N'hants via Stoke Bruerne. We didn't make it last month due to the weather. Its a run of around 200 miles so it will be weather dependent with a shorter run as an alternative. There will be a stop on the outward leg and fuel on the return.

Please meet to leave Sainsburys Springfield Chelmsford at 9.30am. Ride to finish at Mc Donalds Boreham Services...................................Richard P.

I am jealous. I had intended going on this run, but had a bad night and felt that a long ride after only two hours sleep was probably not a very smart thing to do.

Regards
Chris J.

Sorry to hear that Chris, but definitely the right decision. However, you did miss a cracking day. Although cold, it was sunny and dry all day and the roads Richard had chosen were very good, including quite a few we haven't done before. We had lunch at the Super Sausage and even their breakfast was better than usual! It was just one of those days.....

Paula is right too. The riding I saw was brisk, but safe and polite to other riders and road users alike. A good day all round.

Many thanks Richard.

Andy
