Weather is dry with a slight frost on car windscreens but not much else. Ride will go ahead as planned but just watch out for debris from the storms and standing water / tyre tracks leaving trails of water which could freeze early on. See you at Tescos!
Chris

Cheers for a good run out today Chris.
A little nippy but dry and almost too bright. Couldn't see much on the way back due to the glare.
Decided not to stop a Birchanger, way too busy. Where did all those people come from?
Anyway, Happy New Year to everyone, see you all soon.

Mike

A massive thank you to the 16 brave (read stupid) souls who turned out for the ride, despite a slightly delayed start due to a navigational faux pas by one of the riders (who shall remain known only to the attendees). Due to indifferent road conditions a straightforward route was used and much fun was had by those who watched a suicidal learner on an R125 doing overtakes on the A1307 with a fag paper between the cars! Well done to Jill and Fiona for keeping the girls end up and Terry for buying me brekkie and Steve for the bucket of coffee at Birchanger. Thank you all very much!

Now, back to Turkey and sprouts! Ooops.....not going to be popular after them :-))

Chris

Many thanks for a good day out, Chris. After Birchanger discovered that a sentence had been completely omitted from the KTM manual (and the dealer staff knowledge base): "The ECU will clear all running-in restrictions automatically the first time you turn on the ignition after the bike has travelled 1000 km." The bike is too clever by half, but I forgave it since it was so perky on the way home.

There will be a delay in posting pictures, since a driver update has knackered the computer which can talk to the camera.

Regards
Chris J.

Thanks Chris for a organising, it was a great day to test my Christmas present, I need a temperature regulator though as I cooked on the home leg.
No one seemed in a rush to get home!
Great company today, hope you all have a great New Year and a successful biking 2014

Pictures from the run, which will not win any photographic awards, have finally been posted.

Perhaps you need to refresh the link. The Web Server logs indicate that at least one external user has viewed them successfully.
