count me in for a great big mega thanks rich p... I enjoyed riding my trusty steed at an easy pace on the trip out. the banter at the café. big mikes poem thing. chris reed giving me a tow on an invisible bungee. the various starburst added to it. then ending up at mac dees with stuart and nobody else. 280 miles from door to door. well pucker me old mucker :D

Thanks Guys glad you all enjoyed it. With such a big turn out it was inevitable it would go wrong somewhere. It appears that towards the end someone left their spot before the back marker arrived which stranded half the group. The rest of us waited near Saffron Walden and then made our way home.

Overall a long but really enjoyable day on some brilliant roads and good company........................ :D Richard

Yet again, thanks to Richard and all others. Thoroughly enjoyed the day (without rain) and clocked 263 miles. I wonder if the girls at Beans are still looking for the unknown sandwich owner ? The marker system has minor flaws which I have no doubt could easily be ironed out.

Thanks Ian -one of those flaws was when you passed me at the roundabout turning left to Safrron Walden - thinking I was a marker rather than the lead! You didn't come back so no doubt found your way home before us......Richard
