Hi all.
Richard Parker has asked me to post the full member ride for this Sunday due to him unable to access the forum!
As follows:
School holidays are over and the weather is good so time to go to the coast. The Full Member Social Ride this month will be to Aldeburgh a return distance of about 200 miles. A coffee stop on the outward leg and lunch either Fish and Chips on the sea wall, bring your own or visit one of the cafes.

Please meet to leave Sainsbury Springfield Chelmsford at 9.30am........................Richard P.

Michel, want me to take your Multistrada just to keep the battery topped up?

More than willing to do you the favour.

Mike

With pleasure if I can't make it, and you just reminded me a mate with a Pani offered me the same deal. I must take up his kind offer.

Chris,

I thought that being a man of Kent, or should that be a Kentish man? I can never remember which side of the Medway designates the appropriate title, I would have thought that territorial allegiance won the day. Just think yourself lucky you're not a Scot, och! that'd be almost as big a problem!

A'wa the lads!

Geoff

Beachy run has a more convenient starting point for me.

Beachy run will be shorter.

Aldeburg run will be on more interesting roads.

Aldeburg run will be probably be brisker.

At this moment I am b*ggered if I know which one to choose. It is a bit like the Judgement of Paris ... there is no right answer.

Regards
Chris J.

Geoff

I shall decide in the morning, depending on how knackered I feel. The prospect of another 30 mins in bed could be the critical factor :-(

Seconded. A most enjoyable day. There were 17 of us and, apart from 3 or 4 spots of rain at 12:20 (exactly in line with the weather prognosis) it was delightfully sunny. I do not count the very minor shower when we were eating our fish & chips. Perhaps it was just spray. No SNAFUs if you discount the independent trips to the petrol station. The ride was a little over 180 miles and was over at 17:15. Pictures have been posted,

Regards
Chris J.

I concur wholeheartedly ! Great fun ride Richard except for that horrible road from Gt Leighs to Boreham which you put in on purpose! Thanks to the backmarkers and apologies to Fred who got mislaid somewhere near Cornish Hall End.
