Thanks for organising Richard and to everyone who attended for your enthusiastic company. Fortunately the technology reacted more reliably than the Baltimore fiasco Chris!

This is a reference to our USA tour in 2010. Geoff was the navigator, since he had the SatNav. Unfortunately it developed an emotional fixation with Maryland; functioning perfectly there but becoming increasingly grumpy as we moved away. Typically it stopped giving advance warning of turns until it issued a peremptory 'Turn Now!' at the last minute. This once led to Geoff and I losing each other for two days. It reached its nadir at one T-junction when, whichever direction we took, it always instructed us to make a U-turn as soon as practicable.

Regards
Chris J.

Well for a late season run that worked out really well. Big turn out pretty good weather and a very good lunch venue. Thanks Guys - good marking enabled a long run to go smoothly. Thanks Geoff for tail ending..........Richard

So who was back marker at the 120? Geoff was in the middle of the pack and no one else gave me a clue.

Not sure but it may have been me Jill. I was dropped fairly late on and it could possibly have been at the A120. Some came my way and others waved to go off. Geoff came by me and waved me off my post ... or at least that's how I took his wave.

Apologies if it was me although I think you was directly behind me for most of the run in so perhaps it wasn't. :?
