The Full Member Social Ride this month will be to Dunwich a total distance of about 170 miles with a tea stop on the outward leg and fuel on the return. Please meet to leave Sainsburys Springfield Chelmsford at 9.30am. Ride to finish at Mac Donalds Boreham Services.

Our Chairman announced at the last Group Night that this ride would be open to all members which it is but I'm sorry that for the time being this will be the last Full Member Ride open to 'all' simply because the increase in numbers that this generates means that the ride venues I use don't have the capacity. Hopefully some additional rides will be arranged for Associates.

In the case of a big turnout the ride will be conducted in two groups......................................Richard P.

Would it be any help if there are more people prepared to get involved?
I'm happy to sit at the back all day long if it'd make a difference (& I'm not at work).

No good 2 groups 20 mins apart for venues with limited capacity?

Would you have a file available for downloading to Satnav.
Thanks

Doubt it, but you can have the route scribbled on the back of a used envelope

Only the start and end points are likely to be the same. :-)

Happy to tail end as I'll be 'running in'.

Guys -
Sorry no sat nav route - you won't need it but as Phil said I could photocopy my envelope!

Colin - It may be the same destination but this is the proper route! Chris its not only the start and finish that will be different! I'm committed to places that can take the expected numbers!

This is a fish and chip cafe on the beach - the fish is a bit pricey but you can just have chips or bring your own!

The fuel stop is between 140 and 150 miles so please ensure you have enough fuel...........................Richard P.

the destination is a purpose built cafe at the end of Beach Road and there is ample seating inside.

Nigel
Return time I'd guess at around 4 pm in Chelmsford

Chris

That does sound like Flora's, where we went after the last AGT. I will be pleased if it is. I have been running an open-ended 'pea-tracker' survey there for over 10 years, and it would be very interesting to see if there was a short-term quality variation.
