It has been tried before. Bill Bovil had a few mid-week 'old farts' rides in the summer of 2008. I went on the first of them, with 4.5 participants (Jill W. couldn't stay for the whole ride). I am not really retired, since the systems I installed over the years have proved annoyingly durable and I still have a client base to support, but I am master of my own time to a certain extent and might be able to attend some. Longer runs are more attractive for me since I have the 90 mile penalty for anything North of the river.

Regards
Chris J.

Have a long and happy retirement Dave, if it's anything like ours you'll be busier than if you're at work. Roy Becken put it very well "you only retire when your children don't want you any more"!

Given some notice Audrey and I would love to join you.
