Sorry for the late post but I've been Off Roading in Spain this week and needed to make sure I came home in one piece!

The Full Member Social Ride this month will be to Capel St Mary Suffolk a return distance of about 120 miles. Its just the one stop for brunch - 60 miles out and 60 back. Please meet to leave Sainsburys Springfield Chelmsford at 9.30am. Ride to finish at Mac Donalds Boreham Services.................................Richard P.

Please note that if there is ice about the ride will be cancelled.

Fortunately there was no ice, even though initially the temperature was only a degree above freezing; the cloud and damp kept it away. Sixteen bikes, and an interesting route out which involved pretending to go to Harwich and then doubling back to surprise the Harvest Moon Cafe from the rear. Return journey was more conventional through Sudbury & Finchingfield, but the sun was out, the roads were drier, and the temperature rose to a scorching six degrees! Many thanks to Richard for an enjoyable run and to Mick for tailing. Pictures have been posted.

Regards
Chris J.

A cold and dismal start did not deter and there was a really good turn out for February when we were rewarded with sun on the return leg. Thank you for that and special thanks for Mick sweeping in the absence of Geoff - where was he?...............................Richard
