The November ride is to the Weatherspoons in Newmarket on Wed 16th Nov. An old bank in Newmarket high street with parking outside the front.

We'll meet at Sainsbury's car park for a 10.00am start. This ride is subject to decent riding weather, we will add a post to the forum the night before if it is being cancelled. Please check.

Also can email direct if you register your interest before with bigbobcowl@yahoo.com

As usual the ride is open to associates and full members

Since my attack of 'Can't be flu because you have had the jab but with identical symptoms' has finally subsided, I was desperate for a run, and set out from Sydenham at 08:20. M25 at near standstill, so I didn't get there until 10:05 and the group had just left. I didn't fancy even more filtering on the way home so I decided to make my own way to Newmarket. Greasy roads with a lot more traffic than at weekends. Five miles outside Newmarket, at the B102/B1061 junction, five riders joined from the right ahead of me. They might not be the Mid-Week Ride, but they rode neatly and were the best I could hope for so I tagged on. At Newmarket they did turn out to be the EAMG guys. Brunch at The Bull, and then to avoid the M25 I made my own way back home. This turned out to be wise since it was blocked again; this time from a tanker crash. A shame, since the roads were drying out and the journey back to Chelmsford would have been more fun than the M11. A few rather poor snaps form The Bull have been posted.

Regards
Chris J.
