Hi Folks,

The format for the Full Member ride on Sunday will be to Morrisons Diss with a short tea stop at Wally's.

Departure from Sainsbury's will be 09.30 sharp (the days are getting shorter) :(

The usual Terms and Conditions apply!

See'ya Sunday.

Help others, if you can't help them, at least don't harm them. :D

Location: Sydenham; when riding normally unknown
An enjoyable ride with sun (good) and low temperatures (not good). Road surfaces OK apart from some salt residue. We had 8 bikes and a relatively incident-free ride. We lost Neil on the way out. He claimed that the left at a roundabout was because his mind was elsewhere, but he caught up with us close to Diss. The group also abandoned their back marker (me!) when he was caught in a petrol station queue at Morrisons in Diss. At an improbability factor of thousands to one we all joined up again at Sudbury. Ride ended at Dunmow. I had done about 145 miles. Many thanks to Geoff for leading. Pictures have been posted.

Regards
Chris J.

Yes, thanks for leading the intrepid band of cold-weather adventurers (some might say mad!), Geoff. A lovely day of riding in which I even managed to stick with the others on the return after lunch. As Chris has said, the highly improbable happened when he slotted back into the group after having gone AWOL at Diss. An eventful day!

Thanks for your company guys.

What's worse than having no heated gear on a very, very cold day :?: Having heated gear that doesn't
work

As mentioned , some quirky misplacements but, variety is the spice of life don't y'know. It was good that we finished the ride as we started, just

Thanks to Chris for Sweeping, we ambushed him at Sudbury in spite of his attempt to get away. :D
