**CANCELLED LOCKDOWN**Associate Group Training(AGT) 8th November 2020

Post by Mick Hewitt »

NOVEMBER AGT CANCELLED DUE TO LOCKDOWN - DECEMBER 6TH AGT GOING AHEAD UNLESS LOCKDOWN EXTENDED! Hopefully just November.
Stay safe. Mick

Hi all.
Now FULL - please look to December AGT. Thank you.

Our first AGT since March, was held in October, and was a success with tight controls on attendance and distancing. Each associate and Members that have signed up for Further Training Members(FMT), were required to confirm to me their attendance so I could book in and provide the necessary Observers. Same requirement for November - email me: (mickhewitt39@hotmail.com), or via forum or text(07762 889408. Note: please ensure you've paid the reduced rate for 2020 EAMG joining fees before booking. Any questions, please ask.
Note: Under tier 2 we can meet for training as we're providing 'education training' run as a charity. This is within the guidelines.

Address: Beryl Platt Centre(formerly LongmeadsHouse) , 12-14 Redwood Drive, Writtle, Chelmsford. CM1 3LY.

As before, NO full member rides - only booked in for training are allowed on site - anyone who turns up without booking will be turned away. Requirement of the controls to support the guidelines.

Guidelines:
The government guidelines allow groups of more than 6 to gather for training purposes. Longmeads House - renamed 'Beryl Platt Centre' - have therefore invited us back to their new hall in order that we can recommence training. The hall is located behind and to the left of the old hall.

Numbers have to be limited to a maximum of 25, and everyone must wear a face covering and maintain social distancing of 2m. Guidelines also stipulate that only full members on FTFM and associates may attend.

The speaker TBC, one Supervisor inside and second outside respectively.

The session will commence at 0930hrs, but you will not be allowed into the building if you have not pre-registered with Mick Hewitt. Once registered you will be sent an email documenting how the morning will be conducted in order to keep everyone safe and within the guidelines and law. After the talk trainees will be allocated to observers for 1:1 rides.

We understand if some people are not comfortable entering the building with others, but would still like to participate in an observed ride. If this is the case then let Mick know when you register and we will arrange for an observer to meet you elsewhere.

Regards
Mick
