Hello John

I have a problem with my engine a noise from the back of the cylinder head !

Do you know of anyone in the club with a Bmw k71 engine used in S, St, GS models?

I am unable to get on the forum (no password as when joined there was a problem with the website), which can be corrected later.

Thank you

Martyn

Hi John,

Isn't that the engine that was in Mick Hewits GS? Not sure if he still has it though.

Cheers
Simon

Hi Simon,

Yes you are right. Mick's (e-mailed) reply follows below.

Regards,

John

Hi. The f800 sounds like a bag of nails at tickover, which made me think I had a problem when first purchased. They tend to be noisy because of the general design. I would go to cannons and ask them to listen. Regards. Mick.
