Suitable for an ER5? Don't want to get left behind? :?

Eminently suitable for an ER5 - these rides are specifically aimed at Associates and therefore are ridden at a modest pace using the marker system (which Mick will explain on the day). Take a look at the ride guidelines on the website for an explanation if you want to be ahead of the game, but they are heartily recommended - a morning riding your bike with like minded individuals in a caring and supportive environment - whats not to like??

Enjoy!

Stuart, this is primarily meant for associate's but full members who want a steady pace, which is suitable for all abilities, are invited.
ER5's are more than capable for these rides.
Regards. Mick.

What a difference a week can make! By contrast with the sub-zero snowscapes of Richard's last run we had a fine day with temperatures which nudged into double figures. I counted seventeen bikes, with associates and ladies being well represented. Mick led at an easy pace and most seemed content with this since there was virtually no overtaking within the group. Lunch venue ran out of eggs, and also forgot my relatively early order until everyone else had finished. Black marks there. Paula was sweeper on the outward leg and .... his name is on the tip of my tongue ... him with the kevlar jeans .. took over for the return. I left at Dunmow after 77 miles to get a shorter route home. Many thanks to Mick, and the sweepers, for an enjoyable ride. Pictures have been posted.

Regards
Chris J.

First ride out with the club. Everyone so friendly, well organised. Never knew Essex had so many bendy roads! Looking forward for many more to come... :)
