Mid-Week Ride Tues 21 May Suffolk Water Park

May's Mid-Week Relaxed ride will be held on Tuesday 21st May. Meet at Sainsbury's Chelmsford at 9:15 for a prompt 9:30 departure.

All Full and Associate Members welcome (please ensure your membership is current for 2024 before joining the ride. Thanks).

Full tanks and empty bladders please!!!

Around 125 miles with the first stop at The Waterfront Diner at Suffolk Water Park and then onto Cafe33 for lunch with a varied route back finishing at Channels McDonalds around 3:30pm.

GPX file for the route will be shared nearer to the date and will be added to the forum.

When we last called at Café 33 in March someone asked if it had always been called Café 33. The answer is no, attached is a picture taken in June 2006 on a ride to Thetford showing the café as it then was.

Some of you may even recognise some of the riders.

Yes, Chris you are correct. I just had it filed under "Thetford", I don't remember the fun bit! For the record a picture of Keith taken at Finchingfield on the way home.
