Thanks for the reply guys. Problem solved - new EVO tank ring has been purchased, and everything fits as it should. As for the old tank ring, even though it looks very similar to the EVO tank ring, it obviously isn't.

Hi, does anybody use the S W Motech EVO tank ring? I've brought a secondhand tank bag with the EVO fitting, and when I brought my bike it came with the tank ring already fitted (I was told at the time it was the EVO tank ring). Tank ring, and bag go together(just), but don't lock into place. Any ide...
