Judging by the chatter on WhatsApp there was some confusion with the route so here is a screenshot of the route and a GPX file with minor edit to indicate the refreshment stops.

As Colin has not said any differently, I'm sure the ride will be starting from the usual place which is Sainsbury's, Springfield, Chelmsford. CM2 5PA.
It's a convenient location with fuel available but note that the ride starts before the store opens so there is no access to toilets.
