Valve Regulated Lead Acid Batteries

My daughter has a Yamaha Neos electric bike. As well as the two main batteries that provide the motive power there is also a small 12v battery that takes care of the instruments, clock, etc. Unfortunately, this battery, if the bike is left unused for a month, discharges, resulting in a dead ...

Driving Licence "Mystery"

Both my daughters passed their car driving test years ago. Recently, I was looking at their licences and noticed that, as well as category AM which enables them to ride mopeds, also present is group A, which is the full motorcycle category. Neither have a full motorcycle licence so what's this about ...

Any chance of explaining what you mean by "the red strips"? I use a ruuber plug/mushroom for roadside puncture repairs.

Re: Essex Council Road Survey

Hi Michel. Thanks for the note about the roads survey.
Unfortunately, the link doesn't appear to be there. I can access the map - possibly one of the more confusing maps I have come across - but there is no link to the survey.
Cheers

Re: 72 Reg V2 950 Ducati MultiStrada Travel For Sale Loads of Extras

Hi Bob. So sorry to hear of your injuries and the consequent end to your motorcycling activities. I bought your Triumph 1200 XRt from Chelmsford City Motorcycles, who were selling it on your behalf, in Jan 2021 and, 35,000 miles later, it is still going really well.

My best wishes for 2023!!

Here's a document from FEMA giving details of all motorcycle recalls for some time back. Useful for checking if your bike(s) are on it!

Re: First European trip

Have a great trip, it sounds well thought-out. Only advice I can provide is to remember filtering is illegal in Germany.
