Although nothing had been planned, after the AGT everyone looked meaningfully at me, and so I suggested a ride to Sudbury. None were opposed to this, so we took the bog-standard route to Finchingfield, where two riders departed to the bosoms of their families and the remaining three took an equally bog-standard route through Wethersfield to the Hedinghams and then on towards Sudbury. I feel no guilt about this unenterprising ride; they are good roads for a winter outing and the blustery wind had dried them substantially, although there were a few pools and some washed over gravel. It was too small a group for the marker system so we used the 'make no turn until the guy behind can see you doing it' approach, which worked well on these familiar roads. At the A131 Stephen Green took over as leader, since he had a SatNav which could find us a cafe. This he duly did, although by a somewhat unusual route which involved looping the loop rather than the customary U-turn. After up-market coffee at Cafe Nero we returned to Finchingfield, where the run ended. It seemed more blustery on the way back.

Photos from the AGT have been posted, including Colin on a pushbike and a rather nice snap of Richard P. arriving on his GS. There is a solitary picture from Cafe Nero to prove we had a ride.
