The April ride will take place on Tuesday 18th April, route now completed.

We'll meet at Sainsbury's car park ( in the usual place left as you come to the mini roundabout ) for a 10.00am start ( fuelled up please ). Now that the demolition work on the raised car park is complete this area is now the best place.

This ride is subject to decent riding weather, we will add a post to the forum the night before if it is being cancelled. Please check. Weather looking good so ride confirmed.

Route ( Braintree, Sudbury, Needham Market, Wickham Market, Tunstall, Leiston, Blythburgh, Southwold )

Route shows 89 miles and likely to take 3 to 3.5 hours so late ish lunch circa 1:30 to 2 in Southwold.

Given length of this route likely take the quick way home ( about 80 miles via Ipswich then A12 ).

Thought a decent length run as we should be getting better weather and temperatures by then. As usual the ride is open to associates and full members

Thanks for setting this up and tail-ending BigBob.

A great day out.

Thanks for Dave Iszard for route leading an excellent route too.

A good turnout of eleven bikes in the bright sunshine, including great to catch up with some chums I hadn't seen for a while.

Idea for another time would be the Dave Silver Museum Honda in Leiston in Suffolk. Not for a while though, as the route would be very similar to yesterday. Am sure we could negotiate a decent midweek special group rate entry fee, especially if we only to be in there for less than an hour...which would be ideal. I'm happy to negotiate!

Other ideas: Iconic biking cafes, a few interesting dealers such as KrazyHorse dealer & cafe at Bury St.Edmonds. A route taking in Gt Bentley (Weds) on return for the bike meet, at around 5pm would be good too.

Miles & Smiles,
Anthony G
