Re: Tony April leisurely Ride
Thanks Tony for an enjoyable day out on Wednesday. Perhaps a little too much gravel but we did all get safely to the Suffolk coast and back.
Bearing in mind the age of some of the riders it would have been nice to have had a formal break on the way home. I've identified the Barn Cafe in Assington as a possible stop for the future (they advertise cream teas!) although I have no experience of the place. However, if we had stopped it might have been dark before we arrived back at MacDonalds.

Re: Tony April leisurely Ride
Hi Chris
I almost made an unofficial stop there. It has recently reopened after being closed for sometime. As the hour was getting on I decided to push on.
I'll put a feeler out to see what the other riders think of your suggestion or I could shorten the route to about 100 miles to allow a homeward stop, but this does put a limit as to how far we can go for new places to ride and see.
An alternate is to hit the main road for say the first 40 miles before heading onto the more country roads.
Cheers
